$525 for lectures with full-day workshop

Expenses: All travel expenses will be borne by the guild/conference. These include:
*Round trip coach airfare and any additional baggage. (for locations over 400 miles from Columbia, Tennessee)
Karen Combs will make travel arrangements. Special airfare rates on advance tickets will be booked 30 days in advance for the best possible price. The guild will be presented a bill for the tickets at the time of the workshops.
*.550 (or current IRS allowance), per mile by car (miles from my home to airport: 100)
*Parking at Nashville Airport: $16 a day (current daily rate/ subject to change)
*Shipping of quilts for lecture(when applicable)
*At the workshop location - Ground Transportation: In most cases, Karen will rent a car (at her own expense.) If not, arrangements will be made by the guild/conference to meet Karen Combs at airport locations with a vehicle adequate to handle two large suitcases. (Approximately 50 pounds each). Remember that we will be lifting them in and out of the vehicle. Please do not bring a small sports car, send someone who can't help me "tote and lift" the bags or bring a car that has its trunk filled with other items.
Lodging: in a hotel or motel. No private homes. At retreats, a private dorm room. In most cases, Karen will book her own hotel.
Meals: may be provided by a guild member. I can eat breakfast each morning at the hotel, providing that the hotel has a continental breakfast or complimentary breakfast bar or is there is a restaurant nearby.
