FABRIC: Choose two color families that work well together such as blue and green.  Bring 2-6 lights, 2-6 medium and 2-6 darks in each family. Make sure your fabrics are not busy prints. A fat quarter of each fabric is enough. You may bring more fabric if you wish.  (Fabric will be available in class)

Background: 1/3 yard light non-busy print (This can be purchased after class)

Border: 1/2 yard medium or dark print that works well with your two color families. This fabric can be a busy print. Florals work well for the border. (This can be purchased after class.)

(A non-busy print is a print that reads like a solid from a distant. The fabric, "Fossil Fern" is a good example of a non busy fabric.)
