Supply list

(Class fee: $8, includes pattern and handouts.This will be collected by the teacher or teacher's aid at the beginning of class)

Rotary cutter

Mat

Rotary rulers (I suggest 6" x 1” &  6”x 6”)

Straight pins

Seam ripper

Sharp pencil

Sewing machine, setup with off-white or gray thread, extra bobbins, new sewing machine needle

Can of Magic Sizing or light spray sizing

FABRIC:

Hearts – pick three colors you like to use together. You will need a medium value of each color as well as a dark of each color. You will need ¼ yard of each medium and each dark.  Tone on tone fabrics work best. (Example: Moda Marbles)

Background: Select a light background, without much pattern. A light batik works well: 3/8 yard 

Border: 3/8 yard  (This can be purchased later)

Binding: 3/8 yard (This can be the same fabric as the border. )

**Complete kits for the Sweet Hearts are also available for $30 each. The kit includes the required $8.00 pattern and precut fabrics, including borders, backgrounds and bindings.
